We supply teams to carry out a range of activities, across the Openreach network. Our engineers are committed to perform a variety of tasks in a safe and defect free manner. Engineers are required to work safely in and around live traffic and pedestrians, being well mannered in all situations especially when dealing with the public.

All our lead operatives are New Road & Street Works Act (NRSWA) qualified. We required that all operatives adhere to the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, along with internal and external SHEQ policies.

All operatives must adhere to NRSWA. Operatives should be competent using technology to capture data in the field according to our company policies and procedures, including completing Site Specific Risk Assessments.

We require operatives to represent the company in a professional manner along with working as part of a team.

It is not always possible to complete work during normal business hours; sometimes operatives may need to be flexible with their working patterns.

  • Must be able to CAT scan area as performed on accreditation NRSWA
  • Set up works site as per red book with correct safety zone and work area
  • Carry out excavation as per NRSWA accreditation
  • Repair lay or build as per Job pack and works description
  • Back fill and reinstate as per HAUC and NRSWA accreditation
  • Always Clear site and leave as was found adhering to NRSWA.

  • Enter Openreach underground chambers in correct and safe manner.
  • Carry out Gas tests with calibrated gas detector as shown on A8 accreditation.
  • Rod rope and test duct
  • Pull through cable/subduct
  • Restrain & label as shown
  • Blow through COF cable using dry air blowing machine.
  • Always Clear site and leave as was found adhering to NRSWA.
